He lost to Gorman and Mater Dei in 2016 because they saw the same thing and had the defensive talent to shut down the run and force him to pass. It wasn't until Negro moved Wyatt Davis to the interior of the line and doubled down on the run that SJB found any success with Mitchell at QB at least against decent competition.
