I agree, and we may see the birth of a  new political party.

The possibility may not be as silly at it once may have sounded.

Compare the policies of Bill Clinton and even Obama to Bernie Sanders or Fauxcahontas (or "The Squad" LMAO).  Just look at immigration and how the loonies have forced things:

There is a completely looney far left that has grabbed the reins in recent years (most of the shift shown below has happened since 2011).  Traditionally, the Dems have stood for borders and border protection,  a wider (but at least limited) safety net driven by the federal government,  safe and limited abortion rights, more regulation (and generally bigger government resulting also in higher taxes)... Stuff arguably slightly left of the Republicans.  Pew, who did the study reflected below, estimated that Dems were about 10% more liberal than Republicans back in 1994.

Look what's happened since...

It pretty clearly demonstrates which side has become "more radical".

We hear the Dems/left demonizing the rich all the time. And old, white cisgender men.

Well, with every passing day it looks like they may end up with a candidate currently worth over $60 billion who is old and white and who is effectively buying his position in the Dem field with media spending already well into the hundreds of millions of dollars. He has said he'll spend at least a billion of his own money.

Their other likely candidate is a "socialist" candidate - eager to get his mits on anyone and everyone's money - who is a millionaire with three homes who flies first class. He's an even older white guy.

In their wake these men will have left a varied combination of younger men, women, blacks, a Latino, a fake Latino, a fake Native American, an Asian, a Samoan Hindu, a gay guy...

You can't help but notice that the Democratic left is full of shit.

When given the choice between what they claim to champion and what they claim to loathe...  guess who's winning and guess who's been kicked to the curb... again and again and again...?

Thoughts?

Politics as usual.

Latino Support for Trump Is Real

KRISTIAN RAMOS FEBRUARY 17, 2020

President Donald Trump has done almost everything he can to anger Latino voters. And yet, his support among this crucial portion of the electorate remains surprisingly consistent. After the 2016 election, exit polls analyzed by the Pew Research Center showed that 28 percent of Latino voters supported Trump; today, 30 percent support him.

This percentage may not seem high. But consider what the number means for the Democrats: Displeasure with the president over the past three years has not led to an increase in support for the opposing party.

Democrats lost the 2016 election with about 66 percent of the Latino vote. Today 65 percent of registered Latino voters who are Democrats have a positive view of the party’s presidential candidates. Based on exit polling from the past three election cycles, I estimate that Democrats need about 70 percent of this vote to take back the White House.

12 pt national lead for Sanders for the dem nominee

Sanders' issue is that he can only count on the far left loonies currently backing him and Fauxcahontas.  Anyone even remotely centrist won't touch him.

What is likely to happen is that as Dem candidates bow out, their supporters (apart from those of Fauxcahontas) will tend to shift to the likes of Bloomberg, Bootiejudge or Biden.  Sanders has a ceiling of about 30%-35% of Dem ("socialist") voters.  He may get to a brokered convention, but he'd then have to win on the first ballot, which he won't.

The beauty of all this is that his hard-core supporters will be incensed and believe they were robbed again and likely stay home in the general.

Train wrecks and dumpster fires will gaze upon the 2020 Dem National Convention in awe and envy.

That would be the perfect scenario right

More trouble for Biden

FBI agents last month raided the home of the CEO of a bankrupt hospital chain and one of its hospitals in Pennsylvania in new signs of trouble for a company central to accusations of influence-peddling by James Biden, brother of former Vice President Joe Biden.
