After addressing the nation last night, the WH had to walk back 3 false policy announcements: The travel ban does not apply to US Citizens The travel ban does not apply to goods and trade Health Insurers have not agreed to waive co-pays for coronavirus treatments. It is completely inexcusable to issue this many clarifications about a prime time address to the nation - particularly about an urgent public health crisis. Where were the fact checkers? The policy makers? How stupid are the people who who work at this WH? Trump acted on Coronavirus back in January with travel restrictions with China (which medical folks credit with reducing the current levels we are experiencing). Any credit given from the left? Of course not. He was called a racist and xenophobe. Now we have folks clutching their pearls because of some clarifications to last night's address.
