I tell the truth and Andy gets mad and tries to twist things. The (valid) point I was making was that after a sluggish performance in the last year-and-a-half of Obama's presidency, Trump took unemployment numbers already below where the Fed considered things to be at full employment and he had dropped them a further 0.7%. Hence "remarkable". And they'd even drop a further 0.5%. I stated facts. You claimed that a time when the unemployment rate takes 18 months to drop is "plummeting". FACT. You did. I pointed out the Fed considered full employment to be in the low 5s. FACT. Literally my words. I pointed out that unemployment under Trump accelerated and was well below the assumed full unemployment rate. FACT. Exactly what happened. The defense attorney pointed to testimony from Cohen in Trump’s civil fraud trial, which ended last month, as a reason to exclude him from the upcoming trial. Cohen testified in the fraud trial that he and Weisselberg “reverse-engineered” Trump’s assets to reach a number the former president liked, but on cross-examination, backtracked on his remarks. “Michael Cohen is a liar,” Trump’s lawyers wrote. “He recently committed perjury, on the stand and under oath, at a civil trial involving President Trump.
