BREAKING: Mortgage demand fell to a new 30-year low in January 2024 (lower than the housing crash of 2008’) down 54% from the pandemic peak, according to Reventure.

Mortgage demand is down 14% over the last year and 40% from pre-pandemic levels.

Even as mortgage rates have come down from 8.1% to 6.8%, mortgage demand is getting worse.

Still, 90% of borrowers have mortgage rates below 5%.

Even with a drop from 8% to 6% mortgages, many homeowners have a financial disincentive to move.

Affordability is getting worse. Biden Economy in full swing.

“Stop interrupting me”: Judge tells Trump lawyer to “have a seat” in fiery courtroom exchange

Things got heated between former President Donald Trump’s attorney and the judge overseeing his Manhattan criminal case on Thursday.

Judge Juan Merchan denied Trump’s motion to dismiss the case and ordered jury selection to begin on March 25, adding that the trial is expected to last six weeks. Trump is charged with covering up hush-money payments he allegedly made to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election.

Trump attorney Todd Blanche at Thursday’s hearing complained that the date puts Trump in an “impossible situation” given his many criminal and civil court cases, according to Just Security’s Adam Klasfeld.

"You don't have a trial date in Georgia. You don't have a trial date in Florida,” Merchan told the lawyer.

“Stop interrupting me please,” Merchan told Blanche as he tried to push back during the hearing.

Blanche also claimed that the case against Trump was “completely election interference” and complained about the “media saturation” surrounding Trump’s recent civil fraud and defamation trials in New York.

Merchan said he would not wait for the buzz to die down.

“Mr. Blanche, please have a seat,” he told the attorney when he tried to push back.

@Warrior they aren’t serious, are they?! The one and only time he has ever not contested a ruling?!?

He knows all these embarrassing indictments in Florida and DC will die at the Supreme Court. And the rest won’t happen prior to the election. Once elected they all are gone.

The Obama administration was running this country then...so why didn't they so something about it?...wake-up and stop believing Trump's well told LIE....Russia helped him get elected. Did they? Home Run you mean, loser. Even if Russia did what you say they did...they got no help from Trump, so there's no conspiracy, no "collusion," and no guilt of any kind by Trump or his people.

And since you couldn't answer my points about the failure of the Obama administration to sic the CIA, FBI, NSA, etc. to stop these Russians...let me help you. The Demonrats didn't WANT to stop them. Instead, they were hoping Trump and his people would bite on the chance to get Russian help, and then they could spring the trap. Classic entrapment attempt...just like they did on J6.

Your man Muller had no problem with that. Just meeting with a Russian is no more criminal than drinking Russian Vodka.

Link, Fatticus?

The utter dumbassery that it takes to be an American living during that time period and not know that your President had 8 associates convicted of crimes is beyond comprehension.

Criminal charges brought in the Mueller special counsel investigation

George Papadopoulos - Making False Statements to the FBI

Rick Gates - Conspiracy Against the United States and Making False Statements to the FBI

Paul Manafort - Conspiracy Against the United States, Obstruction of Justice, Filing False Tax Returns, Failure to Report Foreign Bank Accounts and Conspiracy to Commit Bank Fraud

Michael Flynn - Making False Statements to the FBI

Richard Pinedo - Identity Fraud

Alex van der Zwaan - Making False Statements to the FBI

Michael Cohen - Making False Statements to the FBI

Roger Stone - Obstruction of Justice, Making False Statements to the FBI and Witness Tampering

All Guilty.

What's actually happened is that the Russian lawyer promised collusion so she could procure a meeting with Don, Jr. but then pulled a okey doke and only wanted to talk about adoption of Russian children.

So Trump's people were totally interested in working with the Russians (as all the indictments show) but some of them were merely being used for other purposes.
