How embarrassing is it NO ONE on this FORUM had ever heard of Graham-Kapowsin?

There might be a team from Oregon or Minnesota better than Graham-Kapowsin for all we know about anything...

Possible, but unlikely. WA state traditionally mops the floor in OOS games against Oregon. A lot more D1/FCS recruits.

I've never heard of a team from Minnesota doing anything nationally, but hey perhaps one exists.

Not really.  These teams play some of the most difficult schedules annually.  Herd mentality is ranking a team high for no verifiable reason other than "everyone else ranks them high"  i.e. Collins Hill and Center Grove.

The computers with no human bias, the computers with human bias, and the human polls all say the same thing. At what point can you just accept that there are four extremely good football teams in southern California?

You're gonna ride that horse till it's legs fall off...

Any public is rated to high for your liking...

Any Non-TL school is held to a different standard by you...

Uh, no. Just no. Servite just played the most difficult schedule since Calpreps began. I can’t say for certain there wasn’t a more difficult schedule prior to 2003, but I can pretty much say for certain.

Well, the Calpreps poll is pretty good. What’s your problem with it?

The human biases that it uses to produce its ratings.

Not to mention the uproarious ratings of several California and Texas schools.

You think Cathedral is #13? They lost twice by 28 points or more. You think they're better than St. Frances Academy?

What about Venice? You think they're top 10 and also better than St. Frances Academy?

You think Lone Peak is #13? They got trounced by Bishop Gorman and also lost to something called Skyridge.

You think 5-loss Orange Lutheran is #27? They lost three games by 24+ points and four games by two or more scores.

I could go on.

Also, this has nothing to do with their quality.

If you think they're the second best team in the country then good for you.

But they lost three times by multiple scores.

I’m not seeing any merit in your arguments. “It doesn’t show what I want it to show so it’s wrong” isn’t a winning argument.

So you just make up a strawman?

Nice.

I think pointing out that the top 4 teams are from California and:

  • 5 of the top 13
  • 6 of the top 25
  • 7 of the top 27
  • 8 of the top 35
  • 9 of the top 41
  • 10 of the top 42
  • 11 of the top 47
  • 12 of the top 48

And....

  • 13 of the top 50

is more then enough merit to conclude that this poll is ridiculously bias towards a cluster of California schools.

calpreps thinks that Servite played a tougher *average* opponent than St. Frances Academy, IMG Academy and STA.

🤡

Average? Nope. That’s not what it’s saying. Nice try, but you’re wrong.

It has become apparent that you don't really understand calpreps.

Saying something is true over and over doesn’t make it true. It’s quite obvious YOU have no idea how it works and you’re being a snooty little prick who thinks he’s so smart when you, in fact, are 100% wrong.

Nobody should ever take anything you say seriously. Put up or shut up. “It’s wrong” isn’t an argument.

-"Schedule Strength" is simply an average of the ratings of the teams that school has played.
