I’ve advanced to answering poll questions on uniforms CFB and NFL from unis theme based sources on Twitter (X). If I remember correctly the NCAA had a ridiculous rule in the early 80’s that visiting teams had to wear white unis and that is what ended this tradition until a few years ago. Teams like LSU and Georgia Tech who traditionally wore white at home had to go to dark uniforms at home in the later 80’s-90’s. USC and UCLA both used to play in the Colosseum in considered the rivalry game a home game that ended when the Bruins moved to the Rose Bowl. Not remotely close to the one upcoming in Ann Arbor for me of course, but old school and tradition, I’m always all in. I’m not sure how the NCAA and NFL handle home team choice and allowance. I assume the home team chooses and then fashion rules apply I suppose for NCAA and NFL rules. Maybe the home team can even veto a road team offer? Would be interesting to know. @steeler01 any idea?
