golfaddict1 Posted March 5 Author Report Share Posted March 5 World indoors was fun. Noah Lyles ran a 4x400 leg, right in line with Boling and the others. They finished 2nd. Coleman nips Lyles and Blake in the 60 (6.41). Lyles top speed got above 26 mph, with Coleman reaching upper 25 mph range. Robert Griffin lll offered Coleman 100K, if he can break 4 flat in the 40. Coleman is up for the challenge and looks like he’ll give it a go. No idea when, but I assume it’s going to be soon. Speaking of the 40, the recent NFL combine gave us a new record 40 time, thanks to Texas WR Xavier Worthy’s 4.21 Coleman’s start is ridiculously good and under 4.1 I think is a lock. That anchor set a national indoor 400m record in this even with a 45.7 400m. Texas is not a big indoor T&F state. A lot of East Coast teams do though. 3:11.87 Is faster that Mission Viejo, Ca 3:12.10 and Atascocita, Tx 3:13.73 the two fastest outside 4x400 in 2024. They had a 3:14 coming into the Nationals.
