Nolebull813
Permian was 102nd in Texas which equates to number 15 in Louisana. So number 15 is “average” in Louisiana. Noted

That logo is for Carver Birmingham the rams. They are a terrible program last playoff win was 1984. Some years they don't even field a team. If they scheduled them the AD and coach should be fired and in prison. Hopefully it is Carver Montgomery who is combining with Sidney Lanier to form 1 school of about 2400. Nolebull813
2 hours ago, HooverOutlaw said: How does that school afford all those OOS games? They made all their money in Georgia. Every top 10 team in Georgia for like three or four years was paying them to come up. I think they might have won one game in three years and that was a forfeit. They played more Georgia teams than Florida teams in the short history they had in football. Grayson beat them 74-0. It was one of the lowest points in high school football history. Nolebull813
Imagine you are one of the dozens of high profile transfer recruits headed to Grayson and the coach tells you your marquee non-region game is against a winless team who just started playing 11 man football.

JCGIII
3 hours ago, AztecPadre said: How long before GA head coaches are burning up the phone lines for Carver to schedule a game? Georgia threw that old rag in the round file, but Texas jumped in believing it was a chinchilla.
Frosty4024
Homecoming game before District Play I guess? Either that or they needed a game due to district changes? I'm assuming this is a home game for Mojo?

He wasn’t being literal. It was a joke that GA teams schedule a lot of garbage OOS teams annually. Because they do. That’s what makes it funny. Cuz it’s true

MOJO lost in 2nd round of the Texas 6A playoffs last year 63-10....... the team that beat MOJO in the playoffs lost the next week 52-10. MOJO may very well win, it's a home game...BUT it sure doesn't make them relevant.

A LOT of 6A teams would have gotten the business from them. MOJO is nowhere close to competing for state in 6A-D1. They're current chasing Midland "Legacy" in District and even lost to Odessa High (That just does not happen). They got work to do.
