Mater Dei versus IMG

AHP a little better with regards to recruits, but still quite weak compared to recent years and especially the last two undefeated seasons.

Here is the breakdown with regards to top 100 FL rated recruits and commits the last 5 years plus 2019, 2020 and 2021 classes.

Now look at the upcoming sr class... 2 current fbs recruits and no marquee recruits as of yet in the top 100.  Junior class, also no top 100 marquee recruits.   One recruit has a star rating in the sr and jr classes combined at this point.

7 fbs recruits total soph thru sr years at this time.    Last year AHP had 6 top 100 FL recruits in the senior class.

2014:  #3, #42    (6 fbs signees)

2015:  #7, #13    (5 fbs signees, 2 Ivy, 1 FCS)

2016:  #7, #47, #71  (5 fbs signees,  1 Ivy, 2 FCS)

2017:  #12, #29, #35, #83  (9 fbs signees, 2 Ivy, 1 FCS)

2018:  #2, #4, #11, #28, #38, #90  (8 fbs signees, 1 Ivy, 3 FCS)

2019:   no top 100 recruits,  one rated recruit (3 star) (TE/LB) with Syracuse offer.  One recruit with Pitt offer (rb)  2 fbs recruits offered

2020:   no top 100 recruits,  no rated recruits yet.  DB/WR with Kentucky and NIU offers,  2 OLB's with Syracuse offers (one has a NIU offer also)  3 fbs recruits offered

2021:   OLB with a Syracuse offer and DB with a NIU offer  2 fbs recruits offered

You’re just butthurt that nobody wants to move into Moultrie.

Crybaby.

No sir. I simply believe all GHSA schools should play by the same rules, especially the privates and open enrollment schools (looking at you Buford, Marietta, Rome, et al). The proximity of metro schools is a bonus.

If all things were equal, people wouldn't have to MOVE here. They could make the drive from the surrounding area of Moultrie and be eligible to play (like they are allowed to do at Buford, Marietta, etc) without sitting for a year.

It's no coincidence that Buford stopped winning championships in football around the same time the school cut back on enrollment.

According to some local sportswriters, they are calling this bunch a Once in a Generation Def. backfield.

We'll see what happens in Spring practice before anyone gets annointed

FS is a 3⭐️

SS  is a 4⭐️(transfer from Texas)

4xCB’s that are all 4⭐️ (One is actually a 5⭐️)

not bad for any generation...

You’re a socialist, plain and simple. If you can’t have it then neither can anyone else, period.

Furthermore, you cannot legislate parents that want the best for their kids, as soon as little mouthy harpies like yourself and Rab get your way, then you leave no choice except a widening gap of the haves and have nots contributing to the proliferation of private schools and IMG types.

Then what?

Public school setup are dated and not fulfilling the needs of these student athletes.

Part of the reason Buford is so attractive is that for the most part is autonomous  and nimble in meeting these needs, and iscommunity oriented in shutting down tuition apps after the eighth grade. Didn’t matter even then the city sits in Hall county and Gwinnett thereby prompting the 3% ruling.

Slowly you socialist fucks are chipping away at a good thing, bitch and rail at a natural marketplace event.

Guess what? Buford owns their own utilities and make money hand over fist even if giving away electricity and water.

Look for Buford to blow the doors off the state of Georgia in Academics, Athletics and the Arts going forward.

While you bitching and poor mouthing, we’re working and have plenty to work on.

Sincerely,

A.A.

And MD is the same as they have come to depend on transfers to be competitive.

Except Mater Dei is a real high school with teachers, students and dozens of extracurricular activities that aren’t football/sports related...so they aren’t the same as IMG....
