Except Cormier lost convincingly two times to Jones.Once when Jones was coming off a coke binge.Cormier is great ...the second best fighter of his generation

I had Cormier winning the 2nd fight in that 3rd round before that kick. Could’ve been tied 1-1.

Can’t be the greatest if you been caught on the juice on multiple occasions

He has been caught on steroids once. The other was a Cialis that the commission announced was taken unknowingly of its affects even though they still suspended him

Getting knocked out with a head kick is pretty convincing.Lets not forget that he told Cormier that was his weakness before the fight and still landed it

The MMA community doesn’t hold your opinion. Is he a screw up? Yes without doubt. Is he the most talented fighter to step into the octagon? Yes without a doubt

After 200 I was done with him...that was after he ran his car into a tree, after he had a hit and run and left a injured pregnant woman to fend for herself, after he got busted for coke, after he hid under the cage at his gym for 8 hours so USADA wouldn’t test him and then he got busted for ped’s again...

lot of guys at my bjj gym feel the same way

Fair enough, the guy definitely is a screw up.His talent can’t be denied though

How much did the PEDS help him in that fight though? He was taking serious punishment before the kick.

You can’t judge that it’s impossible to tell.Cormier or any other contenders for goat can’t get told his weaknesses by an opponent then get knocked out by the weakness that was addressed.Cormier is great I love the guy but even he knows Jon Jones will haunt his legacy

sound about right...

DC is going to make a cool $10 mill on this fight...Brock will make $12mill and still get to beat up Roman at Mania

DC saying if shogun wins this next fight he will fight him at 205.

Shogun has been done for 5 years give me a break.

PEDS make that fight to hard to judge. Did PEDS make him recover between rounds quicker?

My guess would be he used it to cut weight since Turinabol is great for cutting as well as building mass.Since Jones frame isn’t a muscular one I believe he needed help cutting without becoming dehydrated

Jon beat Cormier while on banned substances..

Any way you slice it, nobody knows how he would've performed without those substances.

And given his history of multiple offenses and stories from years ago of hiding under the ring for hours to avoid providing a sample to commission/USADA officials, its very likely he has been using banned substances his whole career.

You simply cannot be the GOAT with that on your record.

I respectfully disagree about who should be considered for GOAT. Styles play a big factor in fights. Gustafsson was clearly the equal to JJ to the point that JJ did not want to fight him again. He was also the equal to DC yet if he were to fight Anthony Johnson again, I would not bet on him. If AJ were to come back and try DC again, I would take DC.

Stipe will be back. I like his all business attitude and how he handled the press with their utterly useless questions... not sure a rematch with DC would go the same way as we have seen this before.

The DC / Lesner match is total BS and the public is buying into it, hence the $$$... reminds me of the Rhonda Rousey nonsense. The most feared man in MMA, if he can ever heal from the back spurs should be Cain Velasquez. If he gets healthy, he will be the man.

They are just taking advantage of Lesnar's popularity while he is not too old to get into the cage

They gonna use him while they can

Yeah man I have to agree.  Maybe he won't be considered the goat officially, but he's the best I've seen ever.   If he would have been 30 lbs bigger out of nowhere or something it'd be different, but he's always looked the same physically.
