I would be willing to bet that Dieon Sanders grip is/was significantly stronger that your average high school player.  Since he was paid millions to play and never changed his style of carrying the ball, it must have worked for him AND his coaches.  🙂

St Louis vs Mililani was canceled.  All the games in Hawaii were I believe.  Kamehameha (sounds like a sound from a video game my son used to play years ago) is playing in Cali vs Carson (blah).  Mililani plays St John Bosco this year.
