West Monroe also won 2-5A outright with their 55 - 14 drubbing of Natchitoches Central last night, now just waiting for the brackets to release on Sunday

How is it Haughton finds way to lose to Airline (This time 35-32) when we are clearly the "superior" team???  Even in the Vikings worst years...we somehow, someway find a way to lose to our North Bossier nemisis.

Oh well...Little Sis is smiling somewhere (Airline Grad.)

Also...Did the mighty Evangel Eagles get held to only 27 points against Captain Shreve in a 27-14 game that was 20-14 late???

One of Evangel's TDs came on a kickoff return after Shreve tied the game.  I guess losing that WR really was a blow to Evangel's Offense.

Either that or Captain Shreve my be on the cusp of becoming a 1-5A threat in the near future???

Nah!!!!

Note:  With Evangel moving down to 4A next season (dumb)...Evangel ends their time in District 1-5A with a 55-1 record (1 loss was to Byrd).

Supposedly Evangel is like 115-24 all-time against 5A teams...Easy to do when 55 of their wins came in our suspect district lol.

Grats to Captain Shreve though...They get a home playoff game thanks to East Ascension beating St Amant 20-13.  Can they win thier 1st playoff game in ages???

Stay tuned Gator fans.

Also Note:

Parkway 34 Southwood 24.  Not a good look going into the playoffs Parkway.  Game should not be that close against a program with only 6 total wins in the past 10 years.

Penn state just came off a physical game at home where McSorley took a lot of hits and they survived.  Michigan coming off a bye week at home with revenge,  against a mediocre offense that relies on Mcsorley to much, should feast.

You also lost to a QB who is now on the bench.

Mond was 16 for 32. 50 percent isn't getting it done

It was good enough to have a 10 point lead well into the 4th quarter.

Throw in a missed chip shot FG and terrible play calling at the end....

"The junior led Auburn to back-to-back scoring drives on the Tigers' final two possessions of the game, both ending in touchdowns.

On those final two possessions, Stidham was 7-of-8 passing for 125 yards and capped it off with an 11-yard touchdown pass with 1:41 to go.

Stidham connected with Darius Slayton, who led Auburn in receiving with 107 yards on 8 catches, four straight times on the first scoring drive.

A&M's secondary was lost and missed tackles and coverages in the final 7:14. It took Auburn long enough to exploit the Aggies' weakest defensive link, but the Tigers took advantage of it when it mattered
