Moultrie Municipal Airport covers an area of 369 acres (149 ha) at an elevation of 294 feet (90 m) above mean sea level. It has two asphaltpaved runways: 4/22 is 5,129 by 100 feet (1,563 x 30 m) and 16/34 is 3,878 by 75 feet (1,182 x 23 m).[1]

For the 12-month period ending August 11, 2010, the airport had 15,500 general aviationaircraft operations, an average of 42 per day. At that time there were 29 aircraft based at this airport: 93% single-engine and 7% multi-engine.[1]

It is not because none of those planes that fly out of there would hold be able to hold an entire team of football players

They would have to go buy a commercial jet or would still have to bus to Atlanta then fly since that's the closest major airport

This is type of jet that would be needed to fly a entire team

You said buy this jet?  It's over 100 million dollars and some even range much higher

Last I checked the indoor practice facility was under 10 million

Last time I checked you don’t need to fly 600 people

100-120 tops

Y'know what yea...

Let Colquitt get a commercial jet in there...

And the newspaper headline will read

"Colquitt County Packers kill the competition before they even leave the plane".

Yeah getting a commercial jet to land there would be like John Holmes trying to park his nuts on a  lady’s chin.
