Study of 2,500 patients in the Henry Ford system in Detroit

Shows hydroxychloroquine cut the death rate of hospitalized Covid patients from 26% to 13% - a 50% drop.  Key was starting early.  Oh, and patients did not have significant cardiac side effects - predictable with a drug widely used in the outpatient setting for many years with nary a peep about cardiac issues (eye issues are the primary side effect with long-term use).  Looks like the drug saved about 150 lives in that study alone.  And the bogus study in Lancet may have killed people.

My two oldest daughters and one niece are all RN’s working at different hospitals in SO CA.  All three report medical staff (including several MD’s) have been using the medication since early on in the Covid outbreak.  I’ve got a high school friend that retired from practice recently and he’s on it too.  These folks either know something that the general public doesn’t, or there’s a lot of healthcare professionals living on the edge.

Who knew the truth about almost anything would become so evasive.

Lying about masks was inexcusable.  If he believed they were useful, he absolutely should have not lied about it.  He is all over the map on nearly everything.  Says one thing to one media source, and nearly the opposite elsewhere.  And he is in love with the sound of his own voice.

And he tries to look so cool with that Nationals mask he wears.  A total poser.

Well apparently Dr. Fauxi owes Bormio an apology...

You know...

for intentionally lying about corona.

Where is yours 💩 tosser?

Bormio is a 🤡

If we lined up all of the stuff he's said about COVID-19 it would contradict himself twice over.

And yet Bormio is still better than the 💩 clown you  worship.....

and still waiting on the apology....

BTW: How do you know fauxi isn't lying to you right now (for your own good LOL) ?

Clue: you don't..... as spoken and told to you, by your 🤡 idol.

Anything coming out of the White House, media, think tanks, etc., needs to be evaluated.

So much confusion out there, I wear a mask when in proximity or indoors, hands sanitized, washed etc.,. traveling by air... gloves, n95, the whole works... pretty much doing this since covid dropped.

The partisan politics, the agendas etc.,.. just make it more to sift through.. even the adage " the truth is somewhere in the middle " do not hold up to the test.

Fauci works for Trump. Smoke and mirrors, mixed messages.

Since there was no link, I googled "Henry Ford Study" and this is the first thing that came up.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/07/02/health/

I'd stick a pin in this and take a wait and see approach, because it was only an observational study, and it exhibits a number characteristics that often don't hold up over time.  For example it looks like they delivered a steroid that was already shown to be effective at the same time as hydroxychloroquine - So there's a very strong possibility the result is from the steroid,  not hydroxy  From the article:

"Finally, concomitant steroid use in patients receiving hydroxychloroquine was more than double the non-treated group. This is relevant considering the recent RECOVERY trial that showed a mortality benefit with dexamethasone." The steroid dexamethasone can reduce inflammation in seriously ill patients.-coronavirus-detroit-study/index.html

I'd put a lot more faith in the Oxford hydroxy study as it was conducted with a lot more patients and control.
