Da Stache THIS, and da Stache THAT!...

BLAH, BLAH, BLAH! All you worshipers ask yourownself THIS question! WHY would a coach with virtually NO competition save SJB, opt to stay at a school that pays him barely enough to live in a SOCAL trailer park? After ALL, if he WAS worth his salt! He could make hundreds of thousands, maybe even MILLIONS, in a mid major or even a floundering Power Five! But I suspect him to be a big fish in a lil pond! Remember Sanchez at Gorman? How'd THAT work out, and where is he NOW?

Well sir, I am by NO means attempting to discredit this feller on his happiest of days! My intent is to merely assist him in trying to better his station in life, by attaining gainful employment at a school of higher larnin, who has it's OWN stadium! Just tryin to help you understand! My good deed in deedy for the day, as it were!

If he lives in the OC he’s doing just fine, one of the most expensive places in the country.

North Tustin, beautiful home. The man has made MD more money than anybody and is compensated accordingly.  Don’t mind the inbred.

INBRED? INBRED you say? Well, my good lil girl! Would you by chance, be a member in good standing, in the Sons of the American Revolution? GEORGIA, as you probably don't know, was one of the ORIGINAL colonies! Was you Uncle in command of eleven Higgin's Boats at Omaha Beach in Normandy? Mi Familia ain't royalty, but we're CLOSE!

Not a member of the American revolution kids but I am a platinum member at Pelican Hill (; Round of golf on me if you sell those last few teeth you have and get yourself a ticket to OC! “You” uncle was a badass! Verdict is still out on you 😉

I confess I have a rather humble track record, my own self! I humbly submit that I have partaken of a few rounds of that golf thingy, during my sabbatical through Havaii and the Far East.

Do I get any street creds for having been to 'The Masters' on five occasions?😊And one of my former high school classmates was betrothed to Billy Paine, the Chairman of Augusta National Golf Club!

And my badassness only extends to two tours of duty in Vietnam, and seven sorties North of the DMZ, on rescue missions!

Trust me, Rollo is not hurting for money and is compensated rather well. He gets a lot from endorsements. Earlier in his career he could have chosen to go the college route. Same with McKnight and basketball. Those 2 coaches chose to be at MD.

No, it’s common knowledge that he sold his soul to beat DLS.

Yep! He basically said after the fourth loss and 0-4 against DLS, “I have no idea how to beat them”. Now, with the arms race in Socal, two teams with 3-5 star athletes playing every position, it’s not a problem beating them anymore. DLS hasn’t really changed except that their current teams are as good as the teams in the past that beat MD and Poly. MD and SJB are light years ahead of 99.9% of the teams now.

No, he sold out to beat SJ Bosco, not DLS.  Jason Negro upped the ante and forced Rollo to enter the arms race to stay on top of the Trinity League. DLS is just suffering the collateral damage from the battle between MD and SJB.

I Believe Rollo Changed his ways to beat SJB rather then DLS Because SJB went the “Super Team” route and Rollo saw the writing on the wall that there were no more league or CIF titles in his future is he didn’t match or exceed SJB in recruiting So Cal’s Best Players....

Rollo knew that Lad, JA and DLS would always be true to who they are and developing the kids that come in their program for all 4 years is the top priority, and if they can’t win with them then so be it....

Plus, if we are honest with ourselves as DLS fans, If Rollo gets a couple of breaks in those games with DLS back then, MD could just as easily be 3-1 vs DLS instead of 0-4....

Rollo was definitely in awe of the DLS Magic, But make no mistake, it was Negro and SJB that forced his hand to make MD a super team...

Which in my opinion makes him one of the greatest HSFP coaches Ever.... He won 2 Natty’s before the Superteams and has won 2 Since as well....

I would still say DLS was original goal but SJB pushed him over the edge.

i haven't seen DJ Williams or Maurice Jones-Drew level player on DLS in the past 15 years...

Add the Great DLS Linemen Like Derek Landri to that list.... That game against LPB where he went Botj ways facing off against Those great Poly Linemen was the greatest game I have ever seen by a HSFB lineman....

I rank him as the second greatest player Next to DJ Williams ever at DLS with MJD as #3....

DLS also had Aaron Taylor and Amani Toomer, Before the Streak.... Never got to see them play in person, but definitely some impressive Dudes in the past!!!....

That lose in 2000 off a missed field goal still hunts my dreams...
