Ranking TXs major OOS losses from best to worst

Bishop Gorman was MNC and Cedar Hill flamed out early and was a non factor

SJP was nationally ranked while Jesuit wasn’t even ranked in the DFW area.

Westlake didn’t have their 5 star QB. Take a player of that caliber away from anyone in one weeks time and see how they suffer.

Bishop Amat finished top 5 in all of California while Aledo plays in the 3rd-4th biggest classification

Aledo played in the 2nd highest TX classification that year and finished inside of the top 10 in all of TX.  Aledo’s only loss that year was to Bishop Amat - a near shutout...save for a garbage time TD.

  • Liberty NV over Westlake
  • BG over CH

Moeller over Dallas Jesuit in 1979.   Big time OOS in '79
