Cincinnati would be a 7-5 SEC team at best.

And MSST would be a Big12 champ

And Vandy would be a Pac12 champ

And Florida wouldve won the Big 10

And SEC SEC SEC....

Am I doing it right?

It really does get old.  Especially with Bama and SC only ones to win so far.  The SEC is the best conference, but mainly at the top.

This is a not a great Saban team but still beat Cincinnati  easily.

The SEC grind would wear their dline out. Alabama could not run vs Auburn or LSU and ran for nearly 300 vs Cincinnati.

Last years Alabama team beats this Cincinnati team by a score of 54-17.

If Auburn had the balls to go for 2 there would not be a discussion

You mean MD and SJB mastered the art of beating DLS...

Don't give the whole league credit for 2 teams that Carry their own weight....

This is the same shit going on with the SEC

Service gave MD a much harder time than Duncanville

I was just talking with my older son about the current CFP system.

Right now it promotes a huge concentration of talent in a few programs. And those same programs have occupied the vast majority of final four spots.

An expansion to 8 or 12 teams would create more chances for top recruits to stop concentrating so much at a few elites if they want a shot at a natty.

Being a non-elite and G5 team, Cincy just didn't have nearly the beef that Bama does.  Becoming a P5 team will help a little and expanding the playoff will help a bit more.

Add in the Evil Emperor retiring some day and we could see a great deal more variety and parity in the playoffs someday.

Alabama can be beaten, by those not beaten walking on the field.  OSU did it, Clemson twice, LSU did it.

I love SEC guys making threads like this.

Why is Georgia in the playoffs?

There was a period of time in their game versus Bama when they were outscored 41-14.

We get the obligatory lists of teams that played Bama tough yet see nothing about the games where they shit the bed against teams that were NOT Bama.

As has been pointed out, the SEC is a very top-heavy conference.

Plenty of shit in there also.
