"The Run" could come to an end Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs are a 7 point favorite.

Burrow lit the Chiefs up in the regular season going 30/39 448 Yards 4 TDs 0 INTs in a 34-31 Bengals win though. It will take that and a little more this time to win the game.

Anyways....

Burrow becomes first QB to lead team to championship round in first two seasons

What about Big Ben, AFC championship rookie year won Super Bowl in his second.

Don't undervalue YAC though.  QB's that are more accurate and hit receivers in stride will have better YAC numbers as well so YAC isn't all the talent of the receivers it a combo of that and QB timing and accuracy to get them the ball on time and on stride

He wasn't the "first overall pick" of the NFL Draft......like Burrow and Trevor Lawrence.

That's all that means...been a lot of dud QBs taken like Tim Couch, Carsen Palmer, Vinny Testaverde and etc...

It's a meaningless accomplishment really, but one some people have noticed and commented on. Joe Burrow wasn't a bust as the Overall #1 pick.

But of course that makes no sense so only after reading the article does it say 1st overall pick.

Not that it matters since it's a totally irrelevant point.

Speaking of Air Yards.......Terry Bradshaw (Louisiana's own) was good at Air Yards in Super Bowls....much better than Tom Brady.

"Bradshaw played in an era when running was more prevalent, but he also helped usher in more prolific passing offenses. He was the first quarterback to throw for 300 yards in a Super Bowl and in fact, had the first two 300-yard passing games in Super Bowl history (XIII and XIV).

Bradshaw completed only 58 percent of his Super Bowl passes, a slightly below average mark, but there's also a good reason for it: His average pass traveled 13.6 yards past the line of scrimmage. That's four yards deeper than Montana and five and a half yards deeper than Brady in Super Bowl play.

Bradshaw and the Steelers not only embraced throwing deep, they thrived on it. Bradshaw's last Super Bowl was XIV, and by the end of that game, he had completed deep passes (20-plus yards) at twice the rate of every other quarterback in Super Bowl play."

Both Carson Palmer and Vinny Testaverde went to multiple Pro Bowls.

😄

Who cares?....they all washed out without doing anything important

Vinny was an INT Machine......he threw 267 career INTS and his 2nd year in the NFL he chunked 35 (2nd most ever) to the other team. Slick Vinny went 2-3 in the playoffs.

Palmer wasn't much better, he threw 167 INTS....and went 1-3 in playoff games.
