Scene from my front yard in NW Colquitt County tonight.... no traffic no noise... unless you count the cicadas, crickets and frogs. Only light to be seen is moonlight. I'll take the country life any day

You sure that you weren't filming in my front yard in NW Colquitt County?

Damn! I just stepped out and... same same!

Galaxy S7 might be just a tad outdated, but the camera is great in low light.

I've lived in Boca Raton, Florida, Oklahoma City/Midwest City, Oklahoma, on the beach and in the big city. There's just no living like Moultrie/Colquitt County living.

There is a beauty to all the places I've lived, but the sounds of the country living in South Georgia is the difference maker.

Or those banjo playin boys in the Georgia filmed "Deliverance."  That was some scary $hit in the daylight.....oink,oink

Wrong part of the state that would be north  Georgia up in the Mountains. That's a whole different genre of southern. Its kinda like comparing folks from San Diego to folks from Oakland.... there all from California but two totally different groups of  folks

live in the country too (and love it)...  if you can do the scene from your front yard, I can do the scene from my backyard  ^_^

Ft. Huachuca, Arizona is where I got into signal. Intel school and Signal are there.

Met 3 dudes from there (Fort H) at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. They were going for a leisurely hike. Like running all the way to the top from Phantom Ranch. Only a 5000' gain in elevation. And steeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

I visited Tombstone and that was one of the greatest things in my life at the time as I am a western movie man. Ft. Huachuca was a pretty cool place back in the 80's. It was my first time experiencing a beer machine. Being able to go into the hallway and put a couple dollars in a vending machine and get a six pack was very, very nice. I think besides the ...........I just had a flashback. Damn, 35 years later, I just had an almost lapse in security. Lets put it this way about what I was about to say. The only weapons on the base belonged to the MP's.

Those dudes ran down from the South Rim, took a little rest, replenished their water then were running up. If you never hiked the Grand Canyon you have no idea how incredibly difficult this is.

Not that big of a climber, walking or running. Only did what I had to do. Especially in that thin air. Almost died my first day, or so I thought. Took some acclimation. No way I was going to run without orders.

These dudes were in incredible shape. There are 2 main trails to the top. One is 7+ miles and extremely steep. The other is nearly 11 miles and nothing but switchbacks and more switchbacks.
