Their D was stout the past 2 years... but they lost a lot of experience last year on D. Their pass D was atrocious tonight. Im telling ya... Cen10 Lite, but their O is more Pro-Style than Cen10s. They came out and gained momentum while rotating 2 quarterbacks. Ended up being a good ending with BT on Cartersville's 10 with about 8 seconds left in the game. As always. 75 They should keep the ProStyle guy (last name was Smith) at QB and Gatewood at WR most of the time. Bring Gatewood in every once in a while for a change of pace. Which actually is what they did and it worked well. Cartersvilles O was only stopped once last night, but because BT had 3 straight offensive possessions that was enough to get them back in the game. What he did is called "Preparing the State for the Loss". But he only did this when BTrail was down 31-3 early... he stopped when it got close at the end. It went from a running clock, to Bartram Trail got 3 offensive possessions in a row without Cartersville O coming out on the field. Cville has a young D. Lost 8 starters off of last years. Because BTrail has a legit O. If they could get their secondary to a respectable level theyd be a legit team because their O is very good. QB isn't getting much time to do anything behind a large soft O-line. WR's are excellent. Defensively we got potential. Lot's of quick athletes. CB's play on an island. Not much over the top help. Kicking is best in several years. We'll make playoffs for the 24th straight year. Then Dade shows up..... As for Bartrum Trail, they didn't look much different from the last two yrs. Same rotating QB's. Buc's scored 104 pts on them. Spread athletic teams can burn them. Bartrum - Cartersville, Cocoa - Mainland, Mainland - Bartrum, and then Cocoa - Bartrum. Too bad It wasn't Cocoa playing Cartersville.
