It’s like minor league baseball, do teams have the patience to develop a 17-18 year old or do you go out and aquire someone who has already been developed and proven

People are over exaggerating. What it will do is put more kids on their right level of football and make D1 a little more evened out. Won't be anymore 4 and 5 stars sitting on the bench as often as we use to see.  You see it already look at all the teams struggling to be elite. Look at UCF they are bringing in high school kids by the bus load. Coaches just complaining because they can't do anymore team stacking.

5 star freshman at Colorado out of Lakeland isn’t getting PT yet.  Social media posters seem to think he’ll be in the portal to Miami after the season.
