It doesn’t surprise anyone that ESPN and the Committee have rigged and manipulated matters to favor the SEC yet again. It’s been happening for 20 years. If the roles had been reversed, they still would have taken Bama over FSU, but would just make the exact opposite argument they’re making now. It happens every year — what “matters” in the decision changes from year to year depending on whatever favors the SEC team. It’s been happening every year since the BCS selection and later the playoffs began. Not a shock, not hate — just reality. FSU would be a major underdog to anyone in the top 4. Missing key players and coaches is also weighed as part of the selection equation, just like head-to-head. Nobody wants to see FSU with their second or third string QB get hammered in the CFP especially when the idea is to get the best four teams in. Bama beat #1 UGA yesterday and left points on the board while FSU looked like shit (offensively) against a middle-of-the-road opponent (who just lost to Kentucky). FSU is not a 2014 Ohio State. Alabama currently looks better and has played a better schedule. Alabama’s win over UGA is better than anything FSU has done and beat LSU as well (FSU’s best win). FSU looked very good back in September but that was then, not now. Teams get better/worse throughout the year. The only reason there’s a debate is because FSU is unbeaten, otherwise Alabama is superior (as is Georgia). The morally right thing to do is Put FSU in... They won out... But at the same time that QB situation sucks ass.... That aside the Committee deserves wtf is about to happen to them... You can't claim they're unbiased anymore for sure... They once put Alabama in with no Division title or conference title... And now you put in a 1 loss bama over an Undefeated FSU who through all struggle and strife managed to pull out an undefeated season with IMO a fair schedule... I haven't seen anything other than their competition isn't Texas along the LOS. Georgia in the 2nd half made Alabama's offense look like they did in September against Texas. Guess whose the only solid defense they faced since then? Georgia, last night.
