If indeed we asked Gorman to break a contract, that was wrong and should never have been done. I sure hope Rollo would not have broken a contract, unless the team we are screwing over mutually agrees that is okay beforehand. Frank did the correct thing this season in not screwing Creekside. BG didn’t have a contract signed last year when MD asked to change the date. Their coach literally said that in the video. Their game wasn’t finalized but in the later stages. No one would have accused BG of ducking a game that was not signed sealed and delivered. You’re reaching. Yeah Frank should not have said anything after the Bosco game. He was fired up but shouldn’t have said that. He believed he had the best team in the country and again, the game between Mater Dei and Gorman did not fall through because of MD. It didn’t work out and I don’t think it’s right to cancel contracts on other teams that have made travel plans. 3. They’re splitting the polls this year. 4. Also doing my research, the Natty's, MNC's that DLS has won, including the ones they won during their streak, i don't think they ever got a complete unanimous Natty right? as in, they never won a Natty, MNC, just like the 2017 MD team did? If we’re not gonna have a Geico bowl, I’d probably give it to DeSoto. How many games did Gorman play? 12? What is their best win? 4 loss Miami Central? Centennial? DeSoto beat Duncanville. Texas D1 Champ in 6A. Probably nobody has a better win that is undefeated. Maybe IMG beating St Joes. DeSoto shouldn't be disqualified. They're just not remotely the best or most deserving team in the country. They're an oopty-oop, no defense Texas team. DeSoto is 15-0 in Texas, arguably the best state for HS football. DeSoto beat the other major player in Texas, one loss 6AD1 State Champ Duncanville. Gorman has the name. Like MD and a few others. But that doesn’t make them better. Gorman struggled against a team that probably wasn’t top 8 in Florida this year. I have no dog in the fight. Just my opinion. Nothing more. Nothing less.
