If MD is good, that league will be the best Baseball league in the country with those 3 teams and OLU…. Plus SJB is usually good as well…. His team also played in the JSerra MLK classic in January, So we played at SM and JSerra, what beautiful facilities!!…. JSERRA is an impressive campus and had one of the best Baseball stadium’s I have seen for a high school….. My son missed a grand slam by 3 ft there so great memories!…. 🤣 Stud!! And still very proud he chose not to go to DLS!

Supposedly, both team's Aces will go tonight which is what everyone wants to see. Will be a lot of MLB scouts in attendance is the word. Catholic: William Schmidt (LSU commit) Live Oak: Sawyer Pruitt (Ole Miss commit)-one that got away. Both pitchers are mountains on the mound pushing 6-5 with some serious heat. It should be a classic pitcher's dual. Whichever team can scrape out a couple of runs and play clean baseball will be the team that probably wins it. I am guessing you have seen all the pre-season hype about West Monroe is turning out to be much ado about nothing... OCS bombed the Rebs in a game mid week. WM is struggling to try and stay above .

DLS has 35 players on their Varsity Baseball Team, and he plays with them in the Summer and Fall…. it’s rough overthere!!…. 🤣 I have a lot of respect for the kids who play Baseball for programs like DLS and the TL teams that have large rosters…. There are some very talented kids that get little or no playing time….. The easy route is to transfer to a public school and play…. It shows a lot of character that they buy in and are committed to the competition, the team and the education….. That’s why those teams are so good though, the depth is incredible, especially pitching!….

The LSU Baseball Brand is dominating recruiting. Needless to say if all these players committed to LSU show up on campus LSU,, well, you know what's going to happen. Catholic (Baton Rouge) has 3 LSU commits..... 2 Pitchers and a SS. All 3 will most likely be drafted, but one will be going in the first round. The other 2 may make it to campus. Good game…. It was crazy how OLU used a Different pitcher every inning, it was like a Summer/Fall game….. But that speaks to the Scary Depth of OLU’s pitching staff…..

Very underrated squad that's going to make some noise in the 5A playoffs. Rummel beat Mandeville 1-0 early this year. I watched a little of it and Mandeville looks the part. Made all the plays, solid pitching. Our Ace (Tulane commit) pitched a gem. We are slowly starting to get it going a little bit.
