The best way to find a particular states most accurate scale (itll never be 100% perfect) is to look at the teams within that state thatve played OOS games, compare each teams rating vs the OOS teams rating they played, and see how the rating difference compares to the actual result of the game. You must do this for every single OOS game.. the exact way Ive done for a few states. NorCal under performed by -3.17 points per game vs. their actual ratings. So if you take away an AVERAGE of 3.17 points from the teams in NorCal, their ratings will more closely line up with their actual OOS game results.. which will give more accurate rankings for NorCal teams in comparison to the rest of the country. This whole process must be done for every state until their teams ratings match up with their OOS game results as closely as possible ... and then we will see some accurate CalPreps National rankings... I saw UT I saw AZ And IMO opinion CA isnt anything super far ahead of GA,FL,TX or OH. Why? You have recruited up privates that stack up and in all reality like any other state 6 or 7 really good publics... SJB just lost to STA 9-3 last year and had to come from behind to beat St. Johns 21-17... they arent special... just good. They only look that good bc they go back to Ca and beat on overrated teams with poor line play. MD had a special team last season.. but that was probably CAs best team ever. They can never accept this. Even CP's recent adjustments changed the national champ for at least one past year. They'll still argue that they won that year too, in spite of the fact that the adjustment, by a human hand, in their "non-biased" computer algorithm, literally took the championship away. There's just no way that CP is biased. Couldn't be. Adjustments retroactively don't prove anything! I google image searched Nor Cal football fans and this image shows up. I never use one sub par game in an, otherwise, successful season as the complete judge of how good a team is. The four or five more impressive games described the true essence of Roswell that year. Same could be said of SJB last year when they lost to STA. I thought SJB was STILL a top 10 team just like I thought Roswell was as well.
