Cali is really far behind in the depth department... Cali has a Top 3 that can compete with any state... But after that, they arent that good on any level... Or on any measuring standard. VM was beaten handily. Their offense had a season low in total yards and never scored an offensive point. They made it past the 50 maybe twice the entire game. It was a beat down. It was almost halftime before VM ever got their 1st 1st down. Most of their yards was when the game was essentially over. Colquitt had 322 total yards to VMs 134 total yards. Colquitt had 199 yards rushing. Daijun Edwards had 119 rushing yards on 12 carries (9.8 ypc), and Ty Leggett had 76 yards on 14 carries (5.4 ypc) Meaning Colquitts RB Daijun Edwards, with 119 yards... Had only 15 less yards rushing in just 12 carries...than Vista Murrieta had total yards the entire game.... Lol VM was #43 in California. North & South combined. Its funny... The #38 team in GA, Norcross, almost beat Colquitt the week before losing just 24-21. But the #43 team in CA, Vista Murrieta, was dominated all game long losing 26-7... Start the season by eeking out a week 1 regulation tie and OT win over visiting SJB. Then proceed to lose later in the season to Miramar. SJB trends up after week 1 by beating Power house St. John's on the road, and multiple other teams better than Miramar. I added in total yards... 322 to 134 in Colquitts favor (and Colquitt was struggling the 1st few weeks of the season)... Go back and watch as VM has 3 and out after 3 and out the entire 1st half. They started moving the ball when it was 23-0 and,Colquitt had the game won. What other stat categories are you even talking about? I think youll find that MO team pretty good this year. They play,East St. Louis IL and Elder OH so well find out. They are certainly very talented this upcoming season.
