He has stood with the violent destruction of the cities and if it wasn't for Don lemon he never would have put out the tweet now trying to condemn them. It looks like he was forced to say something which he himself doesn't believe Biden played to his small base of radicals instead of staying in the middle. The point is that the Democrats are allowing the rioting and looting, and are even abetting it (allowing CHAZ/CHOP in Seattle, abandoning the 3rd precinct in Minneapolis, limiting the police armaments, and/or ordering them to stand down in Seattle, Portland, San Jose, Berkeley, etc.). They won't call in the National Guard, and they wouldn't accept help when Trump offered it. The Republicans are the law and order party. It's also perhaps one of the reasons why there's unrest. Trump's base is mostly made up of people who don't care about the plight of those protesting. So for years they've just ignored them or called them sons of bitches for protesting peacefully. If you make peaceful protest impossible then you make violent protest inevitable.
