If I knew that I would have taken off. I still could but a lady pool rides with me and I can't stiff her. LOL. Send me a text if something great happens. It is windy I just looked out the window with no sun.

The meet was horrible only 3 teams ran the varsity 4x100 boys - Skyline looked really fast until screwed up the last handoff and got red flagged. Wind was blowing like crazy - All the sprints dead into head wind. Desoto girls are impressive - Desoto boys didn't run

Texasball
Talking about depth 65 of the top 100 national ranking 4x200 are from Texas as of tonight 56 of the top 100 national ranking 4x400 are from Texas as of tonight 42 of the top 100 national ranking 4x100 are from Texas as of tonight I know Vermont and the like still have snow. Fact is the true speed states have been running for awhile now. When you figure all the states that have been running and throw in Florida, California, and Georgia - These numbers by Texas alone in the top 100 is very impressive!

Texasball
Golf - thanks for the link from Bob Hayes Thought I would do some side by side comparison of some events 1st - The 110M-H Florida has some good hurdlers - If you combined the top 8 from each meet it would be very interested - The top 8 from Florida 4 of them ran with small wind and 4 ran against small wind . All Texas Kids ran against the wind Texas top 8 Florida top 8 - Just going to post the times and the wind not going to worry about the names and schools - These are prelims for both meets 14.17 -1.1 14.49 -0.3 14.72 -0.9 14.49 +0.4 14.76 -1.2 14.53 +0.4 14.81 -2.5 14.73 -0.3 15.11 -1.1 14.80 +0.6 15.26 -1.2 14.82 -0.3 15.28 -1.1 14.84 -0.7 15.50 -2.5 15.16 +0.2 on the same track this would be some damn good competition across the board based on the time and the wind 4 x 100 comparison of the top 8 going to finals - Little bit of advantage for the Texas relay teams here so far Texas top 8 Florida Top 8 41.17 41.87 41.48 41.99 41.55 42.01 41.69 42.24 41.73 42.76 41.86 42.81 42.05 43.09 42.20 43.40 Manvel ran the the 41.17 interesting enough Manvel B team ran 42.61 good enough for the 10th fastest time in the meet so far at this meet. The Texas Southern Relays are running 16 teams in the final - Heat 1 is 9-16 and Heat 2 is 1-8 best times from prelims Desoto did run in this event
