Whiteshoes,

Good call on Chicago Brother Rice. Just some small corrections......It`s Frankfurt LWE not Frankford.......and it`s Homewood-Flossmoor not Flossnor. Are you sure that this isn`t Warren Central`s basketball team scores...????They have got a very explosive Offense....70 on Ben Davis....revenge for last year...no doubt. I wish Warren Central would play a BNU team or St Joe`s Prep,PA.

IMG dropped to far.   No one believes that St.Johns or Allen would beat IMG.

Also The Bishop is 40 spots to low.  None of the teams 40 spots ahead of them would have a better record with The Bishops schedule.

I dislike when teams get rewarded in the rankings for easy schedules, and punished for playing difficult opponents and losing

Bishop Gorman shouldn't be ranked at all.  They were in a dog fight with something called a Orem from Utah.  I have a hard time as well believing that Blessed Trinity is better than Grayson.

@whiteshoes

I gotta hear this explanation.

How do you rank Colquitt @9 and BC so far below them?

How is SPP not ranked ahead of Colquitt?

I'll try.     I have had Colquitt in the mid-teens all season but with losses by Aquinas and mediocre results from teams above them and their impressive win over Grayson, I thought a move into the Top 10 was warranted.   I have SPP ranked #33 which is three slots below the team that beat them.    IMO St. Joseph Prep cannot beat Colquitt County.     I originally had BC in my pre-season Top 10 but the game against SPP and even this weekends close call against a stronger than expected DBP has them at #37 just below SPP.    It seems your issue is more with Colquitt County than New Jersey rankings, but my ranking of them is inline with other polls that you will see.

Currently #3 team in UT, Orem also gave Bingham a decent game and beat Santa Margarita

a close win over Orem is a bona fide not a blemish for the backnend of top 100

Really hard for me to believe that BG is not one of the Top 100 teams in this country.   I currently have Orem ranked fourth in the state of Utah, which I think have good football teams.    I could be wrong but as I sit here today I actually think that Blessed Trinity is better than Grayson.     You will also note how much higher I have Rome (GA) ranked above Grayson as well and they are a much smaller school.     A quick question for Ohio, is Dublin Coffman for real?

and this is the problem

Nothing against you but monkey see monkey do.

Trust me, I get it. Colquitt did nothing to get dinged.

BC should have never been anywhere near the top 25 pre-season.

SPP I am OK with at 25 now but with reservations.

That is why Colquitt at top 10 is kinda wild.

Did you watch them play Grayson? I am not an eye test guy but these were not big time teams.

I watched the Mission Viejo game and thought that MV is so good it was hard to tell just how good Upland is.   Will keep your note in mind as the season unfolds to determine if a major move is warranted.

I haven't seen Upland, but I've seen Mission Viejo and Orange Lutheran.  They were in a dog fight and both squads were solid.  I would have both of those squads in the top 50.

i would not be surprised if they make a good bit of noise at years end.

(long as the kids don't shut down because of their record)

They'll hafta show up against McEachern and Hillgrove...but other than that...there's no reason they can't make the Playoffs.

Did not see the whole game but saw some clips.     Sometimes I feel that size is not the greatest determinant of a teams capability.   I saw Horn Lake (MS) play live a couple of weeks ago and although they were not as large as some of the other teams I saw that weekend, their quickness is incredible.   Sometimes size gets in the way of that quickness.    And just for the record, I do not review any other polls when determining mine but will look at them after for comparison sake.

I currently have both teams in the Top 50 because like you, I think both are loaded.    Saw Upland against MV in a mismatch but again attributed that more to MV than Upland.

Thanks, I get all confused in Illinois with all the Lincoln-Ways and the Glenbards but you would think a guy who saw HF play would know how to spell it.     Have not seen Warren Central play, was hoping to catch the Bowling Green game at the end of the season but wife stepped in and planned a long weekend in Nashville, Tennessee so will have to wait until the playoffs to see them.   They appear to be as dominant as Ben Davis was last year, but again, it is Warren Central and they have a tendency to lose focus.

Colquitt will win in blowouts now till the last round of states. So they will continue to move up your poll.

I got a think a top 10 team needs to prove it, not beat a team that a non top 50 team beat by the same score.

hey, you poll is fine, I just don't favor an inheritance feature... I like teams that earn their rankings.

SJP #30....

SJP beat SPP who beat BC

Yes the same BC that beat Grayson  by the same point spread as Colquitt.

A GA team is top 10 and a PA team which is has a better case is  30.

I have seen this for decades in the polls.

So you bias is not alone.

and TX, don't even get me started with that nonsense.
