I find it funny that people take great pleasure in the two best teams from NV beating two teams from Texas that finished 2nd place in their districts and that didn't sniff our state championship games. So Magically they may have improved. The Manvel team that beat North Shore lost 3 games and finished 2nd place in district - the Westfield team lost 2 other games and got beat in the 2nd round At the end of the day the two teams in the 6A Div 2 Championship was better than the two teams in 6A Div 1 Championship Lake Travis has already put beat down on Westlake 35-14 in district play - And Katy put beat down on Manvel 35-17 who also beat North Shore in the regular season And easily the best team in Texas hands down in 2015 was the Katy Tigers! Jesus Christ SLC played every bit if not more competitive vs Trinity losing 37-35 and they got beat in 2nd Round One thing for sure without question is that DLS was the best team in California!!!! It's laughable for them to think they are playing on an even level. Texas has 80+ high schools (that play football) w/ over 3,000 in enrollment and the vast majority of them have never sniffed a state title game.
