So now it's not that he can or can't do it? It's about HOW he does it? I could care less how he deals with these countries that have been prison raping us for decades. The Chinese are PRAYING that somehow the left successfully makes use of their unethical tactics to somehow bring down Trump. He's going to get re-elected and China's gonna go ….fuck. He'll "win" this tariff war. Bank on it.

how it's done is very important

suppose you had cancer

do you want a doctor with limited or no experience cutting you wide open or a state of the art minimally invasve procedure?

you need to understand, the things that trump is doing are done all the time just without theatrics. most times the same things never make the news and they are NEVER so disruptive

he shits everywhere he goes for attention and rarely accomplishes anything significant

mostly he just leaves piles of shit around

Horrible analogy. Trump brings ATTENTION where attention needs to be. For decades politicians have always loved the back ally deals and hush-hush agreements that kept the status quo train chugging right on down the tracks. He exposes this crap with his brazen personality and they ALL hate it. But the Repubs see that the guy is a winner. Many of them are getting seeded out and the rest are all on board. Trump gets shit done (despite the libtard left’s 24/7 365 obstruction and daily wetting) if you want to acknowledge it or not. That’s why he’s going to win 2020 in a complete ass-kicking again. Probably worse this time.

Rational, critically-thinking Americans from the moderate left to the far right are going to vote for him. Americans aren’t dumb, noon. And believe it or not, you’re not the only smart guy around. I think it’s hilarious that you think that you know more than Trump when it comes to business and how to negotiate.

How you can even remotely associate yourself with what’s going on the left is beyond me. And before you say the same to me about Trump, just know that I know exactly what’s going on. That’s why I left the clown show left. I would suggest that you REALLY analyze what’s going on here. Be honest. I know that if you’re a leftist that’ll be quite the challenge. But give it a shot. Peace, my brotha👊

Yep...it is. I still like The Five (minus Juan) at 3p and Martha at 4p. But you’re right, the real news starts at 5p. Before that, not much better than MSNBC etc. The weekends on Fox are solid.

Hannity is great...really like The Great Levin....Gutfeld show and Waters World is very entertaining as they call out the stupidy and hypocritical left

Really?

HoW big his crowds are?

We have a gun crisis, not a peep.

What was teh issue with TPP? Guess who won, won big time with that debacle? Yep, China, not us.

We pulled out of the Iran accord for one reason, Trump's ego and jealousy of Obie.

North Korea is a MAJOR debacle under TRump. Kim has made of dreamed of inroads as a result of Trump being... a sick puppy.

Let me tell you something, our strength is in unity. We now are blowing up our alliances.

How about the debt? The economy was fine, it needed no stimulation. Now how do we pay it all back?

We are actively ignoring the Russian meddling in our elections. How is this not frightening to a democracy? And why? Because he is not mentally healthy. He is to insecure about having only received 46% of the popular vote.

Ronnie Ray-Gun made us the most respected country on earth, that was paid back in spades.  Trump is doing the opposite.

This time in history will never be forgotten and none of it will be noted as positive.

Americans are like all humans. Basically idiots.

Emotional messes. Trump's popularity is not based on anything but his lies. People believe his lies because they want to.

You cannot make a rational case, a reasoned case that a pathological liar is a good choice as a leader. Ever. In anything.

They are powerless at present to do anything. Really always have been. This is teh first time we have had a radical elected in our lifetime and he neither right nor left. He's simply a self serving opportunist.

Yes. A) He's a politician (now). I think it's a great strategy B) He wants us to know that despite the left's outright lies about his popularity (and pretty much everything else), people are showing up by the 10s of thousands after driving 100s of miles to just listen to him for a hour. Think about that as see Biden stutter and stumble through questions in front of 27 people.

We have a gun crisis, not a peep.

Am I missing something here? Did this gun crisis start yesterday? He's already talking about some kind of gun reform. There WILL be something. We don't know exactly what yet. But you can bet something will happen. He'll succeed where every other President before him has failed miserably. I'm sure the whiney ass left won't be happy no matter what it is. I'll just ignore them when that time comes.

What was teh issue with TPP? Guess who won, won big time with that debacle? Yep, China, not us.

And you have evidence to support this grand statement? C'mon dude!

We pulled out of the Iran accord for one reason, Trump's ego and jealousy of Obie.

Yeah. That's it. And again, you have some evidence to back up this statement, right? You are so out of touch and angry, noon, just like the rest of the hysterical left. You parrot the same shit as CNN. I'm guessing that you hated Trump before he became Prez. Both of you being from NY and all.

North Korea is a MAJOR debacle under TRump. Kim has made of dreamed of inroads as a result of Trump being... a sick puppy.

Just another noon statement with no substance. NK is on fucking notice bro. KJU can fire his little missiles into the Sea of Japan and act tough. That dude knows Trump won't take his shit at the end of the day. KJU is all show and Trump knows it.

Let me tell you something, our strength is in unity. We now are blowing up our alliances.

I totally disagree. I used to think that way. But ya know what? Other countries don't feel the same way and prison rape the US in pretty much every facet of social and economic policy. Past presidents (most notably the apologist, community organizer) have all let this shit ride for years because they're socialists and want to redistribute America's wealth. Trump's like, uh uh. It's a privilege to be our ally. Make it equitable for our country. If you think otherwise then shame on you. Our allies, even though a little butthurt because they're being asked to pay their fare share (go figure), they will always be our allies. They know who butters the bread.

How about the debt? The economy was fine, it needed no stimulation. Now how do we pay it all back?

I'm not EVEN going to get into this conversation. LOL!

We are actively ignoring the Russian meddling in our elections. How is this not frightening to a democracy? And why? Because he is not mentally healthy. He is to insecure about having only received 46% of the popular vote.

Noon. YOU are not mentally healthy. The beauty of all of this in your statement is that thanks to the lying, cheating, immoral, unethical, left...this longtime running issue of international interference is finally been brought to the forefront and is being addressed. Thank you very much you leftist hoaxsters. At least you were all good for something.

Ronnie Ray-Gun made us the most respected country on earth, that was paid back in spades.  Trump is doing the opposite.

Uh. Ok.

This time in history will never be forgotten and none of it will be noted as positive.

This will be a time when history looks back and shows that the democratic party tried to undo the fabric of the United States of America and fundamentally change it forever

There was a lot in your post that I'd love to talk about, and hopefully we will sometime, but I want to focus on this one for a second as US-China is a rapidly developing real time situation which makes it both unknowable and worthy of our attention (and @Horseflymentioned it in 2 threads now).

An hour or two ago, Mnuchin declared that China is a currency manipulator...so that will likely make tomorrow's market action...interesting (this is where we could use @DarterBlue's expertise but he has left this side of the board for reasons I completely understand).  A few points

Back on August 5, you solicited my opinion on the current state of the stock market. My response at that time was that we had not made a major top. Well, my opinion has now changed.

I now believe that the market topped out in the month of September when the major indices failed to clear their late July highs though many of the headline ones got to within a percent of doing so. I am now bearish and am considering initiating short positions. Why is this so?

As the averages were approaching their old highs, breadth deteriorated. Further, on several days when all-time highs were within striking distance, the averages failed to make them. From a technical perspective both of these factors are negative. Fundamentally, the backdrop has gotten worse. First there is the uncertainty concerning the state of our current administration (what and where impeachment will lead). Second, is the fact that the economy seems to be slowing as evidenced by the fact that manufacturing activity has contracted twice in a row.

No later than the close of this week, I will update my opinion and analysis including a post of any trading action I may have taken. I am sure the Fed will cut rates aggressively in order to try and ward off market weakness. However, I am not sure that what currently seems to be ailing the market will be cured by more easy money.

After this hoax is dispelled, it’ll quickly adjust back like always. Plus, looming advances in our China trade negotiations will also correct the market with time.

Every American who’s now in the red has no one else to blame but the Dems for putting their hated of our great POTUS before the well-being of our country’s economy and it’s citizens.

It'll finish down more than 750 points today I'm predicting.

If it loses that much it will bounce in succeeding days. I would much prefer it finish down in the 350 - 450 range. If this is a new bear phase, I don't want a crash. That is way too disorderly and would bring other issues with it.

Back in December of 2018, in the midst of the baby bear market and shortly after Powell's debacle when he raised rates for the final time, Steven Mnuchin made a very curious statement, something to the effect that, all the major banks were solvent. I found that comment deeply disturbing at the time, and in light of the seizing up of the Repo market, even more troubling now.

I actually hope that my worst fears are not true. For if they are, the spike in rates for the shortest term borrowing possible, may be a harbinger of very bad things to come ...

Um, as of today's close, the pending trade negotiations seem dead in the water as both China and the USA are saying and doing bad things. You may want to reconsider your statement.
