On top of this Texas has 50 times the talent vs the state of Alabama. It's called leadership and Coaching. Texas laughed when Herman did not go to LSU. Then LSU's 5th choice in Coach O beats Herman. Texas AM makes Coaches worse. Stallings at Bama won 81% Stallings at AM 35% Bryant's only losing season was at AM. Texas got oil money but has average football programs. Outside of AM beating Bama in 2012 which Bama won the title again when has AM won a game vs a top 5 game with national title implications on the line? 50 years? My point is it has nothing to do with your state or quality of HSFB. Kids go to Bama bc of Saban, he is from WV, and has coached all over the US.
