2020 NFL Draft by state (HS):

34 — Texas (DFW — 12, Hou — 14)
24 — California
21 — Georgia
18 — Florida
12 — Louisiana
11 — Alabama/Michigan
9 — Penn.
8 — Ohio/MD/MS/NJ/TN
7 — NC
6 — SC/WI
5 — VA/WA
4 — HI/IL/MN

Thought Texas might bust 40, but they ran out of steam late......Georgia and California picked up some steam. Not Florida's best draft.

...12 is more than respectable for The Boot/Bayou

.TCU was the big dog in Texas

I’m begging one of these texas fellas to explain why their CFB sucks if their HS kids are so great.

I think it’s because they go elsewhere to get coached up to go to the nfl and to have shot at winning titles. They know if they stay in texas those chances decrease a ton.

I only say that because it’s a fact.

2020 NFL Draft

La-Lafayette-3

Texas-3

La-Tech-2

Texas A&M-2

Tulane-2

That's hard on the eyes. And, a lot of people in Texas are being overpaid on the college level.

La-Lafayette, La-Tech and Tulane have OK football facilities, probably rank close to last in the college football world (better than high schools, I guess).....but, Texas and A&M have some of the best football facilities in the country and spend tons of money on player development and the entire package.

They both should be pumping ou 5-8 NFL players EVERY year......I can't remember the last impressive Longhorn draft or Aggie draft for that matter. They are both getting some of the best high school players Texas has to offer to boot. They might lose a couple like every school/state, but something isn't happening there.

I'm surprised the other 40-50 Texas blue-chippers (3-5 star kids) didn't get drafted either.....what do you think the problem is, tfroggy?

Maybe because they ain't blue-chippers.

You talk so much smack.  The national champs - your LSU tigers damn near got beat in Austin Texas by team that nearly didn’t make bowl game.

How many freaking times has our HS teams beat your state HS Champion?  You don’t have enough fingers to count them!
