A shout out to Rummel RB Logan Diggs scoring his 1st career TD for the Notre Dame Irish as a true Freshman..

I had to read here at this forum for 3 months that Rummel RB Logan Diggs would not see the field at Notre Dame because Notre Dame also signed RB Audric Estime from st joey regional, nj. Looks like Estime will be a fine special teams player at Notre Dame.

2021 class

Played in more than four games and will not redshirt:

• Wide receiver Lorenzo Styles Jr. (six games)

• Tight end Mitchell Evans (six games)

• Offensive tackle Joe Alt (six games)

• Walk-on linebacker Davis Sherwood (six games, all snaps on special teams)

• Running back Audric Estime (five games, all snaps on special teams)

Meanwhile: Logan Diggs rumbled for 42 yards and a TD against North Carolina Saturday. He saw the FIELD! 😀

Louisiana just does not produce dud RBs....they earn their scholarships.

5 Stars: The Best and the Worst of Notre Dame’s win over North Carolina

Logan Diggs with the 3*

When the Louisiana native committed to the Irish, his running style screamed Le’Veon Bell. He does a great job waiting behind the line for a hole to open and then hits it hard with his speed. The numbers in the box score might not be eye popping but the fact that he’s getting quality playing time when the game is on the line tells you a lot about how much the coaching staff likes Diggs ability.

Cyril Grayson got his first TD of his career, a 50yd bomb from TB12, so another Rummel alum did on this weekend as well!

Yeah, gave him a shout-out in the Saints thread. He's quite a story. He just hangs around the NFL. He was a hell of a football player at Rummel, but even bigger track star at LSU. Happy for him, most humble guy you will ever meet.

"He signed on with LSU, and the Kenner native turned into a 4-time National Champion and 7-time All-American between 2013-16. "

The homegrown talent out of Rummel High was a multi-time state champion in high school, even breaking the Sugar Bowl Track Classic record with a 47.56 400-meter dash time in 2012. He signed on with LSU, and the Kenner native turned into a 4-time National Champion and 7-time All-American between 2013-16.

When his collegiate career ended, Grayson decided to take a final shot at a childhood dream of playing professional football.

For Grayson, it was another NFL milestone following a 2020 season that brought him a Super Bowl ring. Now, he can add first career touchdown catch to the resume, which is made even more special coming back in New Orleans against the New Orleans Saints from the arm of one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.

Isiah Foskey from DLS leads Notre Dame in sacks (8 for 5th in the country) and only plays about half the snaps. Henry To’oto’o also from DLS leads Alabama in tackles. Two possible first round picks from the same team.

DLS puts puts out their fair share of great players much like Rummel......neither are all-star teams.

What a shame , coaching staff did not use him the right way, how the he’ll u give him ball 3 times  in the second half, he looked like he about to put 300 yards on Clemson in the first quarter

If you think FanDuel and DraftKings don't have their hand in the outcome of shit like that, you're being naive

Thx for share.  Didn’t realize Estime and Lloyd (DeMatha, knee inj recup) were rated that highly.  👍🏻.  GL to both esp Lloyd.  He had a nasty knee injury.

Wife handed me an ice coffee outside with a reminder.  No NFL today.  😂   No prob.  I need the football break anyway.

Are you saying the gambling sites influence play calling? And if anybody doesn't agree then they are naive?

Every Monday night after the NFL game (recommend Manning cast viewing) Scott Van Pelt and a funny colleague (both funny) do a bad beats piece.

Most of the games are obscure and sometimes they mention if someone bet this game, they’ll reimburse. 😂

To the point… some of these beats are insane.  The OSU-Colorado Fuckup 2 pt attempt (that should have been a PAT) was a bad beat result… and that didn’t make the list.  :)

Paul Hornung being suspended may have been the closest we got to knowing about fixing?

Check this video out if you want to what Tommy Reese, Lance Taylor, and Brian Kelly tried to hide, and convince us was only good enough to play special teams.

Didn’t they sub him out after the 3rd Q lmao , that Doak committee really fucked up on that one, and people have taken notice
