Sweetlarry
Good move. Should play immediately in an offense that chucks it around and matches his skill set. Their coach developed Herbert, who some here would say is the best young QB in the nfl. Best of luck to him.

Atticus Finch
No one will ever forget his 16 yard, 0 TD season in Knoxville. One for the ages.

Ga96
Remember the last QB to transfer there. Sounds like the road to the end of his football career.

181pl
Colleges do a terrible job of developing nfl qbs. All the run around guys fade after a few years. But colleges love the rpo crap that works on that level. You saw how good Jalen Hurts looked last week😏. Bailey is a drop back passer that will deliver from the pocket. Most of the smooth brain college coaches are unable to develop talent like that because they don’t have the patience. But once developed, look out. Because that system is predicated on the quarterback using his legs to make plays. Would you rather have Joe Burrow as your franchise quarterback or Kyler Murray? How many Joe burrows are out there selling insurance because colleges didn’t have the patience to develop them.

Practically none. Certainly less than you think. Your claim makes no sense. Burrow was at Ohio State for 3 years. They didn't fail to develop him or lack patience.. He just didn't beat out the other QBs. And LSU didn't develop him either.

You have to have in game situation to read defenses. Plain and simple.
181pl
A perfect example of this is FSU. They traded a few wins now on the legs of Jordan Travis for prosperity down the line, at least potentially, with a dropback passer like Chubba Purdy. Who also by the way had wheels. But, Travis had more game experience and offered a better win now option. Mike Norvell has said as much. But in the long run what do you get? Five and seven or six and 8? I’d rather have a 4&8 with a green but talented drop back QB who would double his wins and then probably put you in contention for a division or conference championship after that. golfaddict1
Is Josh Rosen developed? His NFL career is hanging by a thread after a lackluster backup role with Atlanta.

I actually agree with this. But the reason is that Mike Norvell doesn't want to lose his job *now* and that's why he had to win games. They'll never win anything with Jordan Travis.
