The solutions always tend to result in more government control over people's lives. For some of you sad fucks, that's the desired outcome. Some of us prefer liberty and freedom and have paid attention to the history of powerful centralized governing bodies. In terms of temperature related deaths, cold - not heat - is the main culprit: "...the Lancet finds that each year, almost 600,000 people die globally from heat but 4.5 million from cold." The Earth is greener now than it was decades ago The Green movement loves to pound on the West - and the US in particular - but the current greenhouse gas emissions problems are NOT in these parts of the world.
