Davis is very good at most sports but football Is not one of them. They’re going to get blown out every game in the SFL. Def a head scratcher.

Me too man. Folsom lost some great coaches when they all took off for Sac State but Doherty has brass balls compared to the prior staff. He’s not afraid of losing and is all about challenging his team rather than “protecting them”. It only took a decade 😂

This is where the SJS needs to incorporate "super leagues" like in the CCS.  Every sport is based on competitive equity.  A Davis could be in a lower league for football, but higher for baseball, as an example.  It works pretty well.

It's really silly to do it for all sports.

Cen10 is always a formidable opponent, whether they are “down” or not. A “down” Cen10 is a state champion in 47/50 states.

End of season cen10 may be state champs in most states, but typically, not always, they start out not good , especially when reloading . Every team to a degree starts out not at their best , but this season alone was not a pretty start for cen10. 5 or 6 to's was the norm . STA is the flagship year in and year out for the southeast . Long overdue for a MD game, or even Bosco out west

I think Cen10/Miami Central would be a great game, no matter where it's played.

Typically the issue is with the offense adjusting to the timing for the new wrinkles or new players learning the system.  They may miss blocks or have receivers in wrong places etc. but that doesn’t usually threaten the outcome of the game.

The unusual thing about this season was laying the ball on the ground.  Generally you don’t see them turn it over very often, even early in the season.

Why wouldn't that affect the outcome of a game ?  Your offense will stall . Cen10 is a timing offense, uptempo. And since you do get a large amount of transfers it has a longer learning curve for them , then say the underclass who are already learning the system . Cen10 almost always peaks down the stretch . It's hard to believe some years how you came out of nowhere and end up winning the socal, or coming close too. This year was one of them, but it looks like some of your competition you beat  fared better than what was thought to be . You came very close to losing games that you shouldn't have . But you know better with the details than I .
