Conferences will be 2 divisions of 8 teams each. You play the 7 other teams in your division plus 3 cross over games. And 2 non conference games. 12 total. Conference winners and runner ups make an 8 team playoff. Winners all host the first round at home. Semi finals and finals games can be the rotated bowl lineups they do now. For example the SEC champion would play the runner up from the Big 10 in year 1, the runner up from the ACC year 2 and runner up from the Big 12 in year 3. If I had to make any changes it would be these crazy conference alignments... Notre Dame would join the Big 10... I would put FSU,Clemson and Miami in the SEC Put Texas and Oklahoma back in the Big 12... The ones that don’t finish in the two top two of their division can still go to a decent bowl game. The 1AA teams can still play in one of the 100 worthless bowl games too.
