No it means that Colerain should not have much trouble putting Pick Central away, whether its 21-7 or 21-10....look for a two score differential. It also means that the Tier 3 and 4 teams would also beat Pick Central a high % of the time. You cant interpolate score differentials with the tiers.....people that do that, do not understand the concept. The concept of the Tier system is that an undefeated team on a lower tier should not be ranked ahead of a team on a higher tier. The reason the team is on a lower tier in the first place is that they do not have a signature win over a higher ranked team. In addition If a team has a signature win vs. a better team, but also a loss to a worse team, then that can result in holding them back until they can play their way back up with another signature win. Of course there are a few exceptions, but all exceptions will have the opportunity to face a signature team at some point in the season to stay on the higher tier. IMO both Allen and Katy will work their way up the Calpreps and other polls as they advance through the Texas playoffs. I am just getting ahead of that curve. They are exceptions that I referred to in my previous post. Eventually they will have the opportunity to get a signature win to justify their Tier ranking.
