Boynton beach lead by future Heismann winner Lamar Jackson, AHP with Sony Michel/Isaiah Mckenzie and others, etc etc. Check out 2013 University School's Roster. This is not counting younger freshman like Marco Wilson (Florida), or Nik Bonitto (Oklahoma). Most of these kids later transferred to STA or AHP once University had issues with their FB program and coach left. Also a bunch of others went Ivy league or D2. I remember Pops saying University School was a garbage opponent because Calpreps said so. It really wasn't that unusual for the good teams down here to have 10+ D1 players. Jorden Scarlett RB Florida Quincy Wilson CB Florida (Colts) Richard Yeargin DE/OLB Clemson Brian Burns DE FSU Sean White QB Auburn Rashad Causey DB UCF Sam Bruce WR UM Brandon Boyce DL Duke Emmanuel Soto WR Air Force Lajuan Hunt RB Utah St Brandon Russell LB Rutgers Chris Taylor WR Duke That was a great program that blew up only 5 years ago Brett Kean was White' s back up and went to Eds and now USF back up QB behind Flowers

If you say that it wasn't uncommon 5 years ago for FL teams to have 10+ D1 prospects on the field, I'll take your word for it. I guess the new "super teams" out west aren't super after all. They're just catching up to FL. If you look at rankbyoffers.com... It has a "High School Ranking" section... For some reason its stuck on the 2016 teams/Class of 2017 BUT... It takes all the players with offers and gives them points based on the # of offers and the quality of offers...but in the HS Section it ranks the teams by recruits total points... It was last updated 8/6/2016... So its 2 seasons old.. But the point is to show you "super teams" arent new... http://www.rankbyoffers.com/hsfbranking/

They played Steele, Manvel, and LT in the final three weeks of the playoffs and beat them by a combined total 107-24 (shutting out Steele, and holding the best two offenses in the state to 24 total points). Swap Allen and Katy but its really hard to say. Comparing 91 La Grange to 15 Katy is very hard... For one thing 91 La Grange ran the triple option... Idk how a modern defense would handle that... BUFORDGAWOLVES
This is a good thread, and really the meat and mechanics of what I was looking for earlier. Question for @ECHS05, @Belly Bob and @954gator does a go to link exist by high school? For example, let's say Mater Dei, could I see the roster and offers on that team? Triple option can be a bitch to stop. The key to stopping and offense like that is dominating in the trenches. Have to disrupt the rhythm they try to create and force them into passing. Allen was also quite physical (and had a huge front 7) but Katy’s defense was historic.
