They were good, but easily the weakest of Iggys 3 MNC teams. They went 15 - 0 behind a defense that didn't allow a TD by pass all year, their DB was MVP in the championship game they won 52 - 10 over Baton Rouge Catholic. The defense was rock solid and big, they were led by QB Brad Laird who himself went on to be head coach at Ruston.
