Unfortunately Region 1-7A isnt much in basketball outside of Tift County. And theres only 4 teams so by default all of the teams get in the playoffs regardless but Colquitt these past 3 years have actually been pretty ok... I will say this....Andy Harden (Colquitt's roundball HC) has done a remarkable job since taking over the BB program. He actually has done what many, many coaches before him couldn't do. He guided his team to playoff wins. Not many....BUT...playoff wins. It had been SO long before Andy accomplished the feat (not in my school lifetime) that most Colquitt fans didn't know how to react. Andy is working his tail off and it's starting to pay a few dividends. So when I say...Colquitt doesn't play basketball...I mean it "historically". Maybe...just maybe...Andy can change that.
