Bingham held on to win 21-14 on a late goal line stand.

Probably don't want to act too harshly after a two score win but Chandler beating Faith Lutheran 35-21 does little to inspire confidence.

I thought, for sure, that Pinnacle was going to beat JSerra. They had them on the ropes, though.

Buford is at minimum Tier 4 (you have them at 5).. Especially if DFB is at 3.

I was at that game... And it felt like Bufords game. They were moving the ball better....but McLaughlin threw an INT inside the DFB 5 and Buford had quite a few more turnovers that killed drives.

Buford led 14-13 until DFB hit a 79 yard bomb with a little over a min left to win 19-14

DFB and Buford are very evenly matched... There is no way they are seperated by 2 Tiers. And Cardinal Gibbons on a higher tier than Buford? Man... You b on da pipe.

Sammy....after watching the Hawgs play Valdosta...up close and personal...last Friday night....move Colquitt to the 3 1/2 Tier.  Now if we can right the ship against the unbeaten...Mighty Warner Robins Red Demons....then we might edge them back to Tier 3.

MIGHT

Pinnacle doesn't know how to beat quality teams without turning the game into a track meet. Even when you have the nation's best quarterback prospect that leaves a hell of a lot to chance, especially when you're playing 300 miles from home against a foe that's 30 miles from their home. Last night was a perfect encapsulation of why Pinnacle has been largely insignificant during the playoffs throughout their history-they are more interested in being known as a quarterback factory than a championship-winning program.

Arizona's 2018 out of state exploits end largely with a thud-Chandler ends this weekend as the only team with a win, and frankly that was in a game that never should have been scheduled. 5A #2 Higley got boat-raced by Moorpark 35-7, and all told Mountain Pointe probably has the most positive take-away in defeat  (though it can be argued that game should serve every bit as much as an indictment of Bingham/Utah).

DLS is too high.

This is coming from a Tier 1 homer.

They took a step back offensively this week. Unforced turnovers. Errant throws.

And I'm not sure why, but they started a 5'6'' sophomore at corner. St. Francis was able to the move the ball and score by throwing it high to their much taller receivers.

BG has very tall receivers and a mobile QB who can find them downfield.

Plus BG's defensive backs aren't going to be as forgiving of errant throws.

DLS belongs on Tier 3 if that's where BG belongs.

Pretty sure DLS was sandbagging as usual, and spent the week preparing for BG.  I'm not worried.  They will bring their A game on Fri.
