We actually used to exist out here in CA back when this state was run by the GOP...back when it was a great state that garnered the reputation of being a leader in pretty much everything (other than homelessness, illegals, and drug abuse). Then something happened. It has been steadily going to shit for 30 years now. I wonder what happened during this time🤔. I do know that there is a direct correlation with what's happening here and me becoming more conservative. I recognize the beauty of the beaches, mountains, and deserts when I visit them. The rest of this place has been absolutely ruined socially, economically, and infra-structurally. It's definitely not the CA that my family moved to in 1972. That being said, this March, I retire after 29 years of service, and I'm moving to Knoxville, Tennessee. Gonna get season tix to watch the Vols on Saturdays, fish, and get dirty a little. Decision came down to Texas, Tenn, S. Carolina, and FL. I fell in love with Knoxville though. Just the pace that I'm looking for...and I do love the southern charm. I'm looking forward to it. I hope that it turns out to be everything that I think it will. And I'll have to get up to speed on all the HSFB there. I know they've got Male, Brentwood Academy and a few other relatively known teams. Obviously DLS will still be in my heart.
