At this stage of the season north shore has the far better resume. West Brook has played very weak schedule and truth be told so has Westfield. So really there is some unknowns with them both. I like this NS team and they very well could be the best However, Allen is defending champ on 24 game win streak and the are rightfully the #1 team in 6A. Katy, ridge point and Westfield only have losses to NS and are their respective district leaders. Allen’s opponents: Coppell, and Plano east are the only TX teams that have a winning record. And Allen isn’t the most dominant 6A team in the DFW area even with this weak schedule. I don’t believe giving a ranking bc of reigning stats. All im saying is with bidy if work for now, north shore should get the nod if we look at THIS year. It will be settled soon enough. They both have some work to do. That’s what most of us are hoping for, but neither should be making reservations yet. I believe they are the 2 best teams in Texas..... But there are teams in each region, and teams they could play in the semi’s that have a chance to spoil that. Katy was very young to start the year, and any Gary Joseph team will be very well coached. They have gotten better and will continue to get better. On the other hand, though, I believe North Shore has too. Converse Judson is legit too. They are very physical and sound defensively, and they could be a challenge. I think the top half of the bracket comes down to Ducanville and Allen, although Trinity matches up well with anyone because their style of play. I’m excited about 6A D1, and I believe 6A D2 will be interesting as well. Hell, 4A D1 is extremely loaded as well... the only thing certain is Newton going back to back. I just hope they get 100% healthy to start the playoffs. They’ve got a few studs hurt right now.

They have lots of playmakers and really have not used the big back all that much. It will take a complete team playing with limited errors to beat them. Watch out for Judson too, they look pretty good with again strength along their DL. the playoffs will be very good this year for both divisions.
