Them boys are in the same District and there is an intense rivalry in Morris County with these two. I was asked to come and watch and was told if I could not get there by 6 not to come. It was packed. They had a close one in district. Pewitt just pounds the rock and pound the rock. Of all the games in East Texas look how this was viewed on Smoaky.com 19,000 freaking views for two towns that don't have 6K people combined. They were down 30 - 13. 61% in bEast Texas picked PP to beat D.F on the Smoaky poll http://www.smoaky.com/forum/index.php?/topic/172850-paul-pewitt-vs-daingerfield-morris-county-rematch/ Paul Pewitt vs Daingerfield - MORRIS COUNTY REMATCH!!! 1 2 3 4 26 By Brahmaball, November 29 627 replies 19,180 views 627 replies
DevilDog
@Horsefly I just got a call from out there from someone that went to PP and said there was much noise with D.F beating Newton and what they were going to do to Pewitt. They say social Media is going crazy out there and the greatest game they have seen in bEast Texas. Hyperbole no doubt. But small ball out there is crazy. I hear Facebook between the 2 is lit right now. Those little towns are 11 miles apart They say both towns were empty 🤣 Those kids from that little school can tote the rock.

DevilDog
Trinity Christian wins their 3rd Straight TAPPS DII tonite The day after he was announced as one of the 13 greatest defensive backs on NFL Network's Top 100 All-Time Team, Sanders led the Tigers (13-1) to a third straight Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) title Friday with a 48-13 Division 2 finals win over the Regents (Austin) Knights (11-2). Best of all for "Primetime," his son Shedeur Sanders was running the offense for the Tigers. He threw three touchdown passes giving him 47 on the season, two of them late in the fourth quarter. The younger Sanders entered his brilliant junior season on Friday with 225 completions in 304 attempts for 3,278 yards and 44 touchdowns against just four interceptions. He also had run for 215 yards (including sacks) and 11 touchdowns. The 6-foot-2, 200-pounder has 18 college offers, according to 247Sports, including ones from Alabama, Florida and his dad's alma mater, Florida State. He entered Friday's game with 8,726 career passing yards, 120 touchdowns and 19 interceptions, to go along with 19 rushing touchdowns. The Dallas Morning News reported on Oct. 30 that Trinity Christian is leaving TAPPS at the end of the school year on the heels of its boys and girls basketball team being banned from postseason play. DevilDog
@Horsefly For what it's worth I don't know about these kids. Just know people that went there and they said check them out. They have athletes and are not a bunch of midgets though it's 3A DII. bEast Texas kids just look different in small ball to the rest of the State. These kids can tote the Rock
DevilDog
That little 3A school is 3rd in the Nation rushing and they had 1 less game than the others 🤣 13 games vs. 14. I am sure they pounded the hell out of those athletes from D.F. and are damn near 1st now

DevilDog
Another look at them on the field with D.F the 1st time around. Those D.F. kids are always freakish for Small ball. PP Pretty physical and they just pound the rock. Will be interesting to see what they do in the next rd. I think they get Gunter . They damn sure hit the weight room. And this is small 3ADII ball. Not top of the food chain in Tx. Just Piney Woods bEast Texas football small ball.

ATLien12x
Just watched Aledo-Ennis on NFHS! Great game. Awesome 2 minute drill by Ennis to score and force OT. And I loved the decision by Aledo to go for it on 4th and 2 in OT. You know a FG probably won’t be enough, you got an elite RB why not feed him. Good win for them. Love that Texas OT starts at the 25. Wish it didn’t vary so much across the country. Start at the 10 in Florida, the 15 in Georgia, and the 25 in Texas. Weird

The Guru
What I love about Texas high school football is that after today either Cypress Creek (9-4) or Katy Taylor (8-5) will be a 6A state semifinalist.

Texasfrog
We'll find out today if Duncanville defense would be solid enough to play against those Super "World Changing NEVER SEEN BEFORE" offensives of Mater Dei and SJB because Southlake Carroll has an offense on par with those two. Frosty4024
Just woke up: Guyer 28 Tascosa 7 Halftime. STILL don't know why they agreed to playing Guyer at an INDOOR location an hour away from home. Off-Topic: My hometown school (Haughton) took the L 27-17 to Destrehan. Was 10-13 at the half and had a bad 3rd quarter.

Agree, indoors was a bad choice
