LSU whooped Georgia and #7 Auburn but got owned by Florida using your metric on losses. Poll seems about right but sucks on the HS side for damn sure. They are a dangerous team and can play with anyone IMO. I knew that +8.5 pt spread against UGA was ridiculous. LSU is battle hardened. I'm not saying they can't do that either since this Bama offense seems to be clicking. All I'm saying is if Bama comes in to the game playing sloppy... After LSU win over #2 Georgia and jumping to #5, their sniffing out the #1 team and when you get a group of kids in college, high school, or the Peewee level that believe they can win, they are hard to stop.
