gonzaga 1st and 10 at the Dematha 11 yard line. Trailing 36-33 with 00:39 seconds left. 

It was 3rd and 33 and they converted on the previous play, huge pass down the sidelines coming off an offensive PI and sack.

Nice W Gonzaga.  Don’t know if it was a fake PAT attempt at 20-0, but sure looked like it. That got Zaga going.  

I assume DeMatha is not scoring this late in the game.

DeMatha:  75 yard td return of a squibb kick with 20 seconds left.  Gonzaga had just scored on a long drive with less than a minute and no time outs.

Then, with Literally no time remaining, Gonzaga scored on a 55 yard Hail Mary that was caught innDeMatha’s end zone.

 

Three touchdowns, each extraordinarily spectacular, in twenty seconds.

The best game ever played.  And I go back to the early ‘60’s).

Should I mention:  their first game this year was won by DeMatha....in the third overtime.  Now this.

This was the best game of any I have ever seen.  This includes the Baltimore Colts’ Alan Ameche scoring a TD in the first overtime NFL championship in 1958.

That was definitely fun and entertaining. Gonzaga won their first championship since 2002 on a hail marry. And boy did those kids want it
