Best game I have ever seen on any level: Gonzaga 46 DeMatha 43 (I am 71)

Had to check out the ending. amazing plays from both teams at the end there. Here's the highlight of the end for those that didn't see.

The game was good and it had a crazy ending but I tend to disagree on it being the best game on any level. Both teams had poor defense. I would rather see a defensive low scoring battle.

Just curious after watching the highlights.....were there any flags thrown for unsportsmanlike conduct/excessive celebration or any sideline warnings?

Yes on Gonzaga touchdown when they went up 40-36. Penalty enforced on the kickoff return which led to go ahead touchdown for Dematha

Maybe only the Trinity can rival. SJC would beat OL/JSerra IMO. 

I still feel that SJC is the best team in the league...beat both in regular season (Gonzaga handily) but got hosed at the end against Gonzaga who was clearly the team of destiny. Gonzaga was 1-3 in regular season WCAC play but won two crazy games to take the title.

I was the only one to comment on the kids arm strength.  Hell on the long 3rd down conversion, he thew it about 52 yards.

It's funny if I had to rank the teams.  I'd still have it SJC, Dematha, Zaga in that order, but sometimes the unexpected happens!   Great finish.  Dematha really just couldn't knock the ball down when they needed to most.  Props to Gonzaga for finishing the season strong!

Yea figured there would be on that. 

Thought there would've been one on Dematha TD also. 

They are strict with calling that stuff in OH.

I didn’t comment specifically on it but was blown away by the 3rd and 33 play. That is a play no one will really mention as much, but it was a game changer. Hobbled after a hard sack. 

Ive only seen 12 minutes of the Gonzaga QB but I’d take him on team anyday. Kid has talent and the will to win

GZ qb is one of the best in America.  He almost went to DeMatha.  Ferocious competition for top 8yh graders here.
